I am interested in the role objects have in our everyday life and how we live with our natural resources. I think the technical aspect of metalsmithing is as equally interesting as the nature of precious materials. After years of challenging work to master the Mokume-gane technique, I feel the metals are a far more natural material. I hope to express the essence of nature through my work and materials.
