Rachel designs and makes fresh and innovative jewellery. She combines various materials, including, polypropylene, perspex, rubber and silver to create necklaces, bangles, earrings, brooches and rings. Rachel is inspired by the many manufacturing possiblities of plastics, she also likes to use simple and uncomplicated shapes which are easily duplicated. Rachel is currently exploring laser-cutting techniques which have developed her work by allowing her to insert more detail in her jewellery. |
