Exploring the limits of materials and techniques is central to my jewellery; this has led to the development of techniques and an asthetic, which allow for the accidental and the incidental to inform my making.
My current body of work explores the internal and the external worlds of objects, dissecting them using traditional lapidary techniques. The objects relieved of their function start to speak of bodies, forms and terrains. Each object dissected, when viewed on mass takes the viewer or wearer on journey through an un-chartered landscape.
