My interests as a metalsmith encompass inquiries into preciousness, desire, and
formal relationships between jewelry and wearer.
I take pleasure in the somewhat alchemical transformation of materials from raw
form to extraordinary wearables and objects. Additionally, I seek a visual
language of form and structure inspired primarily by organic phenomena.
Working in my studio, I wish to continually surprise myself. I hope that by challenging myself to go beyond my
own complacency I might surprise and inspire others as well.
