My jewellery is both playful and feminine, but with an almost industrial quality. I work in precious metals and gemstones, as well as semi-precious beads and pearls. My designs are based on floral shapes, such as bellflowers and lilies. Initial inspiration came from Arts & Crafts Movement prints and Victorian jewellery designs.
I also produce larger pieces like my "Fat Ladies”, a series of humorous little sculptures that celebrate the natural female form.
All my pieces are handmade by myself to a high standard, using traditional techniques such as mount making, stone setting and wax carving. |
