My jewelry addresses the relationship between the interior and exterior of form. As is often noted when entering a building, the experience of the volume of the interior is remarkably different from the experience of the exterior. Through references to architectural structures, I explore this relationship on a minute and personal scale. By using primarily wire, I allow the viewer to enter these tiny spaces visually, and experience the interior and exterior simultaneously. |
