My current work is composed of simple lines that I vary, combine, and layer to create new, interdependent and often interactive spaces and patterns. My designs strive for a visual interplay between elements, creating a piece in which positive and negative space become equally important. I use a minimal and slightly loose handling of materials to make gestural compositions, much like those found in pencil drawings. Collectively, these concepts establish quiet visual movement and a subtle attention to detail. |
