In past work I have incorporated the use of textile or lace-making techniques intrigued by the delicate yet resilient and complex patterns, but also by the rich and often evocative associations in regards to the history of adornment. In my present work I am using recycled precious and non-precious materials, traditional enamel techniques and alternative applications of color and pattern to fabricate wearable adornment that reflect the way I perceive the body; complex, fragile, and yet at the same time strong and resilient.
