Alice Highet is a Designer and Jeweller. Contrasting colourful plastics with silver, traditional silversmithing techniques are fused with digital technologies. Inspired by organic structures, science fiction, toys and kinetic art, she creates sculptural one off pieces alongside playful and wearable production jewellery. Alice’s practice has recently developed to include large scale work for site specific installation. She also teaches Jewellery on the FdA and BA Hons Applied Arts at Cleveland College of Art and Design. |
