The ephemeral nature of life is both beautiful and liberating and stands in contrast to my preferred working materials. Impermanence expressed in metal and stone. Each piece I produce is part of a complex equation of expression, emotion, inspiration and material that is a constantly changing presence in my workshop. The challenge lies in incorporating enough of myself into this equation to direct but not dictate the results. |
